TeamReach is a good app. It's just not a pickleball app.
For pickleball crews currently running on TeamReach · August 2026It was built to get a group of people to the right place at the right time, and it does that well for 240 different kinds of groups. But a pickleball crew needs more than an address and a headcount. Once everyone's on the court, TeamReach is done and you're back to running the night by hand.
That's the whole difference. TeamReach ends where your session starts.
Picture a normal Thursday. Fourteen people said yes. You've got three courts and two hours.
None of that is a TeamReach failing. It's a generic team app doing exactly what it was designed to do. It just means the organizer is still the software.
Brackets that build themselves. Round Robin, King of the Court, or Rec Play. Singles or doubles, rotating or fixed partners. Pick a format and the matchups appear.
Scoring anyone can do. Tap in a score from any phone. Standings move as matches finish and everyone sees the same board.
A record that survives the night. Head-to-head against every player, partner stats, streaks, and season standings that keep building. Three years in, that record is the reason nobody wants to leave.
Built for the mess of a real session. Someone bails between matches, someone shows up late, someone's fixed partner doesn't come. The bracket regenerates around it and nothing already played gets undone.
A roster you don't have to type. Import from a spreadsheet and invite everyone in a single tap from your own phone.

TeamReach features shown as published on teamreach.com, August 2026.
Worth saying plainly, because it matters for some crews.
The core app is free, with an optional $9.99 a year to go ad-free. The Crew is free to run a crew too, but unlimited crews and roster size sit behind Crew Plus at $29 a year.
If the same app also runs your kid's soccer team, the scout troop, and the church group, that's real convenience The Crew doesn't offer. We do one sport.
TeamReach lets the group share media and documents. The Crew's chat is text only today.
Six and a half million downloads. There's a decent chance half your crew has it installed for something else already.
Your crew shows up, plays casual games, and nobody cares who won. You're coordinating attendance, not running a competition. TeamReach is free and it does that job.
You're the one making the matchups every week. Or somebody in your group has said "I never lose to him" and you had no way to prove otherwise. Or you've ever thought: we've been playing together for years and we have nothing to show for it.
A session runs on one device. One person scoring covers the whole night, and everyone else can follow along. Start with the players who'll download it, run a few weeks, and let the standings do the convincing.
The holdouts tend to come around once there's a record with their name missing from it.
Setup takes under a minute. Free on iPhone and Android, and free to stay for most crews.
